There are thousands of parts in between this two rubber tyres. For me, riding started on a pair of 13 inches tyres. Currently I am on a pair of 17 inches tyres with a famous machine in the middle. Read on to find out my history of riding. I am always wanted to bring all riders in Singapore to come forward and meet each other and share the passion we all had. After bringing up the scooter section in SingaporeBikes, I am off to a new forum trying to have another go with a new group of riders.

The Third Party

My love for my GT has always been the greatest among all my previous bikes.
but recently i had the chance to have a rendevous with one of the latest scooter in the market. It is from Aprilia called the Sportcity.

To make a simple description for this Sportcity, I would say that its actually a Piaggio Runner on big tyres, really big corners-friendly sized rubbers. I tried a few corners on this machine and boy it took my breath away when the view of the tarmac closes in towards my knee as i closed into the corners. It came in smooth and stable thru the curves. For the size equivalent to Runners, it is surprising nimble thru tight areas too. I would say that if it is anywhere smaller, the handling would be even better then riding a bicycle! But by comparing to the bicycle, the sportcity provide much more stability and power. At 21bhp, this scooter moves off with ease. I clocked a personal record of hitting 100kph within 4secs (faster then any freaking ferraris but i lose out on the top speed of course) and tested 140kph with a single hand (shh...sounds pretty illegal)

Well on the looks department, Sportcity will loses out to the Runner and the GT. We cant compare to the GT cus I personally felt that the 2 grills infront look abit odd but honestly, the looks of this Sportcity grows on me. I love the butt especially, with a huge rear tyre plus the high tail...it just reminds me of a lady with a tigh ass wearing Gs! The taillights are attractive at night and with a curvaous mud guard, Any owner would treat this bike like a lady! Sportcity comes in shiny silver, Matt grey and glossy black but i love the Matt Grey best cus we men are lazy by nature and that matt grey does not even need to be polished!

Well i am still riding my Vespa GT, but i hate to say this; If ever a thought of me still wanted to stay at Class 2B for my next bike...this sportcity would definately be the One.
